The public transportation system in France is top notch and easy to use.

*travel tip- I discourage traveling with more than one rolly bag as you will need to load and offload your things efficiently from trains and busses.

  • Annecy is a lovely French town with the most idyllic views.

-If trains, trams and buses intimidate, fear not, I made the trek alone and felt secure. Transportation is easy to navigate, and people are kind and helpful.

-Learn a little French, the people are nice and if you make an effort they’re appreciative.

-It’s a walking town, so pack comfortable shoes

-They’re renowned for their cheese, so make sure you try some!

-Foodies rejoice- The French Alps are known for the most Michelin Star restaurants in all of Europe!

-Don’t pack more than one rolly bag as it will be more difficult with public transportation and the cobblestone streets.

-Bring a reusable water bottle, Europe charges for water out, and it’s always good to be hydrated when walking a lot.

    -Bring an outlet converter

-Weather during this time of year is typically gorgeous early Spring weather- colorful flowers, blue skies and warm sunshine you can wear shorts or dresses, but you will need a light jacket as well.
